Dear SWA Members,

What a strange experience! I’m sure a lot of you had similar experiences because of the volcano on Iceland. We had friends coming for a cup of coffee on their way to the airport, going home after a holiday in Malaysia. They came in the afternoon of 15 April and could get a flight to Denmark on the 29th! I hope this is not going to give Scandinavia a bad reputation and that it will not stop ladies from joining the SWA. We are a bit low in numbers but hopefully many newcomers will find us interesting and become members during the months to come.

The next issue of our electronic newsletter will be out at the end of this month. I trust you will find some very interesting articles and descriptions of some of our tours and courses.
You will all receive an invitation from the Danish Seamen’s Church. It is not an SWA arrangement but you can sign up with me if you wish to participate.

May holds a lot of activities that we hope you’ll join. You can see the list below but also on our web site http://www.swasingapore.com.sg where you can get more information and check for changes to dates and venues. We will send you an email reminder a few days before last sign up date. Weekly Walks will also be reminded and remember to add your mobile number when signing up just in case there is a change or you are running late.
